⏱ If there's time
Info
⏱ Duration: ~20 min (optional) · 🎯 Goal: customize your dashboard and feel, in practice, the difference between Manual and Accept edits modes.
Optional block for the 2.5 h session. You already have your dashboard working; now make it yours and experiment with a different mode.
Switch to “Accept edits”
In the mode selector (next to the send button), move from Manual to Accept edits. Now Claude auto-accepts file edits —you no longer confirm each diff— but still asks before running other commands. You’ll notice you iterate faster, in exchange for reviewing less.
Tip
This is exactly the recommended-progression jump: from Manual to Accept edits once you trust what Claude does in this project.
Customize the dashboard
Try one or two of these iterations:
Notice how, in Accept edits, changes apply on their own and you just confirm in the Browser pane that everything looks right.
Warning
Even in Accept edits, review the result in the Browser pane. If something’s off, go back to Manual to inspect the diff calmly.
✅ Checkpoint
You customized the dashboard (Elektra colors and/or a new KPI) using Accept edits, and you can describe in your own words the practical difference between Manual and Accept edits.
